We would like to thank everyone for attending our networks annual sickle cell awareness day which took place on the 3rd July out in the community. We had some magnificent presentations from a number of medical professionals including members of the community and some of our lovely patients.
We also had some fantastic live entertainment from Nelena Paparisva who was a finalist from the eurovision song contest in 2015 and also a great performance from Shekayla Blaze who’s a very talented gospel singer. We had an excellent turn out of around 80 people. If you happened to miss out on the event this year then don’t worry as there is always next year which will be bigger and better.
