James Black Centre – How to find us

Most of the STSTN events take place in the seminar rooms on the ground floor of the James Black Centre, a King’s College London building on the Denmark Hill campus in south London.

The building is located just off Cutcombe Road, nestled behind the Maurice Wohl Clinical Neuroscience Institute and the Weston Education Centre. The best postcode for satnav is SE5 9RJ.

By public transport
There is no Tube service to Denmark Hill, but the area has excellent Overground, National Rail and bus links.

The nearest stations are Denmark Hill (National Rail and London Overground) and Loughborough Junction (National Rail), both about 7 minutes walk away.

There are also plenty of buses serving Denmark Hill/Coldharbour Lane from the nearest Tube stations, which are: Elephant & Castle(40, 42, 68, 176, 468, 68), Oval (185), Vauhxall (185) and Brixton (35, 345, 45).

By car
It is not advisable to travel to the campus in your own car. Parking space is very limited and there are often long queues to park. The surrounding roads are also controlled zones.

Cycle
There are various places dotted around the campus to secure your bike.
